PM Orders Build of Two More Flyovers in Phnom Penh

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen has ordered the build of two more flyovers to help solve traffic congestion in Phnom Penh.

According to the Phnom Penh Department of Public Works, the two new flyovers will be located at: the intersection of Hun Sen Boulevard, Monivong Boulevard and Royal Cambodian Armed Forces Boulevard (St. 271); and at the traffic light near Century Plaza at the intersection of Russian Federation Boulevard.

Phnom Penh currently has five flyovers: Choam Chao flyover and underpass, Kbal Thnal flyover, 7 Makara flyover, 5 Makara flyover and Stung Meanchey flyover. A sixth flyover project is currently under construction in Russey Keo district.
